Dpf4u Privacy Policy — Malaysia User Data Protection
This document explains how dpf4u collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal information of our platform users. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy in line with best data protection practices in Malaysia. Please read this policy carefully before using the platform.
Effective date: 1 January 2026
What information do we collect from you?
To provide a complete and secure dpf4u experience, we collect several categories of information depending on how you interact with our platform:
- Account information: Your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and password as provided during registration. This information is required to verify your identity and secure your account.
- Device and browser information: Device type, operating system, browser version, IP address, and timezone settings. This data is used to optimise platform display and detect suspicious activity.
- Payment information: We do not store full card numbers. All transactions in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) are processed through secure payment processors. We only retain transaction records (amount, date, method) for account statement purposes.
- Usage data: Pages visited, session duration, games played, bets placed, and in-app actions. This helps us improve the overall user experience.
- Cookies and tracking: Session cookies and preference cookies are used to maintain your login state and platform settings.
What is your information used for?
Dpf4u uses collected information only for legitimate purposes directly related to delivering platform services. The primary purposes include:
Creating and maintaining user accounts, processing secure logins, and sending important notifications related to your account.
Securely processing deposits and withdrawals in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), generating account statements, and verifying legitimate transactions.
Detecting and preventing fraud, account misuse, suspicious login attempts, and activities that violate our terms of use.
Analysing usage patterns to improve the platform, refine interface design, and introduce relevant new features.
How do we use cookies and tracking technologies?
Dpf4u uses cookies to deliver a better and more consistent experience for our users. We use three types of cookies:
- Session cookies: Used to maintain your login status during an active session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser.
- Preference cookies: Storing your language, timezone, and display preferences so you do not need to reconfigure them each time you log in.
- Analytics cookies: Anonymous usage data is collected to help us understand how users interact with the platform. This data is not linked to your personal identity.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some platform features may not function optimally without them. dpf4u does not use third-party cookies for advertising purposes.
How is your data stored and protected?
User data security is a top priority at dpf4u. All personal information is stored on servers protected with industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS). Access to user data is restricted to staff who require it to perform their duties only.
User passwords are stored in hashed form using a secure algorithm — meaning we cannot read your password in its original form. Repeated failed login attempts will trigger automatic security mechanisms.
Transaction data is retained for as long as required by Malaysian accounting and legal compliance obligations. Once the retention period ends, data will be securely deleted or anonymised.
Is your information shared with any other parties?
Dpf4u does not sell, rent, or disclose users' personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. That said, there are limited situations where information may be shared:
- Payment processors: Required transaction details are shared with licensed payment processors to handle your deposits and withdrawals in MYR.
- Legal requirements: dpf4u may be required to disclose certain information to Malaysian authorities if directed by a court order or a competent regulatory body.
- Fraud prevention: In cases involving fraud, money laundering, or serious security threats, relevant information may be shared with law enforcement agencies.
All third parties working with dpf4u are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and are not permitted to use your data for any purpose beyond what has been agreed upon.
What are your rights as a dpf4u user?
As a dpf4u platform user, you have several rights regarding your personal data:
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you at any time.
If your information is inaccurate or out of date, you can update it via your account settings or by contacting our support team.
You may request account closure and deletion of your personal data, subject to record retention requirements under applicable law.
To exercise any of the rights above, contact the dpf4u support team via email at [email protected]. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
What happens if this Privacy Policy changes?
Dpf4u reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in platform practices, legal requirements, or new technologies we adopt. Any material changes will be communicated to users via in-platform notifications or email at least 7 days before taking effect.
The "effective date" at the top of this document will be updated whenever changes are made. Continued use of the dpf4u platform after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the latest version of the Privacy Policy.
